Dr. Deepak is Consultant Ophthalmologist and Head of Department at the International Hospital of Bahrain. He has clinical interests in ocular ultrasonography and retinal angiography, laser surgeries of all types, laser treatment for diabetes and glaucoma, cataract vitreo retinal procedures including vitrectomies for removal of blood and operations for retinal detachment, multiple procedures in vitreoretina involving use of silicon oil, C3 F8 & LPFC, phacosurgery of cataract with foldable IOL implantation.

The event was a major forum that gathered vision researchers and practitioners that explored the vast and varied efforts underway to unlock the mysteries surrounding retinal diseases. The event brought together leaders from the field of ophthalmic research. Dr. Deepak Khosla was the Chairman for the International Symposium Scientific Committee.
